New York City, New York Nov 2, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - The GrowHub Limited (Nasdaq: TGHL) ("The GrowHub" or the "Company"), a technology and sustainability-focused company, today announced that it has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with US-based Strategic Management Consortium LLC ("SMC"), establishing a framework for institutional engagement and the exploration of commercial opportunities in the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, West Africa.
The agreement marks The GrowHub's first entry into the African market, expanding the Company's international footprint beyond its existing activities and project opportunities in Asia and Europe.
Guinea-Bissau presents significant potential for nature-based solutions and carbon-related initiatives. According to World Bank data based on FAO statistics, the country had approximately 2.1 million hectares of forest area in 2024, representing approximately 74.8% of its total land area. This extensive forest landscape provides a substantial natural-resource base for exploring opportunities in forest conservation, sustainable forest management, and nature-based carbon projects.
Under the agreement, the parties intend to identify and assess potential projects involving carbon initiatives, environmental sustainability, and natural resources, while facilitating engagement with relevant institutional and commercial stakeholders. The cooperation will include evaluating the technical, environmental, and commercial feasibility of prospective opportunities.
Lester Chan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The GrowHub Limited, commented:
"We are excited to take this important step into Africa. This represents more than geographical expansion; it is an opportunity to extend The GrowHub's international reach into a market with substantial natural resources and emerging opportunities in the sustainability and carbon sectors.
"Our strategy is to build an international portfolio of commercially viable projects through strong partnerships and institutional relationships. With our existing activities and opportunities in Asia and Europe, entering Guinea-Bissau gives us an additional platform from which to explore opportunities in a new and potentially significant market.
"We see considerable long-term potential in nature-based carbon initiatives, particularly as global demand for credible carbon solutions continues to develop. Our priority is to translate these opportunities into tangible projects and, ultimately, sustainable business growth for The GrowHub and its shareholders."
