Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Jun 5, 2024 (Issuewire.com) - In celebration of World Environment Day, The Happy Plant Project organised a special seed ball making workshop at MP Bhoj (Open) University, Bhopal. This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of collecting fruit seeds at home and making seed balls to collectively spread kindness. The workshop underscores the powerful message: "One book, one pen, one child, one teacher, and one plant can change the world."
Over 30 faculty members volunteered their time and efforts to orchestrate a successful Environment Day campaign. The event featured Dr. Ramesh Shrivastava, an esteemed Ex-Forest Officer (DFO), as the keynote speaker. He was joined by Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjay Tiwari and Registrar Dr. Sushil Manderia, focusing on the theme of Land Restoration.
The Happy Plant Project, founded in 2021 by Ms. Trupti Shukla and Mr. Ishan Lakhina, is dedicated to bringing people across India to promote plantation and environmental conservation. The project aims to plant 1 million trees by the end of this year, highlighting the collective responsibility to protect and preserve our biodiversity.
