Singapore, Singapore Feb 4, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - The International Trade Council ('ITC') today announced that it will be hosting a Trade Mission to Singapore between the 25th to the 28th of March, 2019. Mission participants will have pre-arranged business meetings, receive business intelligence briefings, meet local and private sector leaders, and attend a range of networking events with other C-level executives.
Singapore is known for being a business-friendly country. In the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business List, the country has been hailed as the best country for the ninth consecutive year. At the same time, it has been ranked second in the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitive Index. This multi-sector trade mission will include a customized agenda (inclusive of pre-vetted 1:1 meeting) for each delegate - with the goal of introducing delegates to new customers, partners and/or investors in Singapore and help them expand their portfolio and generate valuable market insights.
"It is my pleasure to host the ITC's trade mission to Singapore this year," said Mr. Tong, ITC Chairman for the region. "Singapore is strategically located at the crossroads of three of the world’s economic growth engines—China, India and Southeast Asia and is a stepping stone for business opportunities throughout the Asia-Pacific region. With this in mind, exploring Singapore is an important milestone for any company looking to expand abroad".
Some international delegates coming to Singapore for the Trade Mission include: GlobalStar - an international satellite communications company that operates low Earth orbit satellites, Sitel - an international business process outsourcing firm, Vista Broadband Networks - a high-speed internet service provider headquartered in California, Care Food Industries - a Malaysian-based manufacturer of high-quality Asian foodstuffs, Munro & Associates (USA), Integral HR Solutions (Canada), CoegaSunwear (United Arab Emirates), Salutica Allied Solutions (Malaysia), Forest Technology Services (Canada), NetAbstraction (USA), SoftServe (United Kingdom), Consolidated Shipping Agencies (South Africa), TMS Technov M Systems (India), The Rustlane (Nigeria), Global Marine Supply Company (India) and Consolidated Shipping Agencies (Ghana).
The International Trade Council is also working with several Cities and Free-Zones to bring them to Singapore to attract new outbound investment to their regions.
