Suisun City, California Jul 24, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - George Price Aka The Original G-Man of Hip Hop is known as one of the great pioneers of Hip Hop. Having worked with the Sugar Hill Family for years, he helped to bring the Hip Hop genre of music into existence.
Born and raised in New York, he began his journey in the music industry as he entertained and excited the crowds opening up for Rob Base and the late DJ EZ Rock as their hype man. He collaborated with B Funk of MoHouse Records using the alias MC Friction on their single “Keep it Real”. As the world and values of Hip Hop morphed, the G-Man took a new role, working behind the scenes to promote and protect many of the same artists with whom he had once shared the stage.
Working for Slack Enterprises for more than twenty years, George provided personal security services for a variety of entertainers in the music industry including the brothers of B5, recording artists K-Ci and JoJo, the legendary Classic Soul artist Darryl Payne, famous comedian and DJ Leon Rogers, and Tito Jackson of the legendary Jackson Five. Being trained by military officials, G-Man served as bodyguard, personal security, and driver for many others in the industry to encourage the message of “reach, teach, and uplift communities” through Hip Hop music.
The G-Man now is taking his skills of hype to a new level – into the kitchen! G-Man’s Healthy Eats Live Longer show will premiere on Friday, July 24th on Zoom at 5 pm EST which will be broadcast on channels and websites throughout the world including Facebook, XOD, Instagram, and MizMacMarketing. Today’s special guest will be Robert Montgomery, Business Developer Extraordinaire, who also growing up in New York, shares the G-Man’s interest in uplifting communities and specifically, young men in the community.
The Original G-Man of Hip Hop has certainly been busy since his days as part of the Sugar Hill Family. From earning his Bachelor’s in Psychology at Bergen Community College to a culinary degree at the Treasure Island School of Culinary Arts, he now uses his vast array of skills and talents to hype fans with his culinary expertise.
