The Partnership Project of CreditBPO and DTI-NCRO

Features the mandate of DTI-NCRO and how CreditBPO can help

  • The Partnership Project of CreditBPO and DTI-NCRO

Metropolitan Manila Area, Philippines Jan 31, 2022 (Issuewire.com)  - For the partnership project between the Department of Trade and Industry-National Capital Region Office (DTI-NCRO) and CreditBPO Tech Inc., there was a virtual signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Lia Francisco, CEO/Founder of CreditBPO and Marcelina S. Alcantara, Regional Director of DTI-NCRO. Officials witnessed it by both companies. CreditBPO and DTI-NCRO have decided to jointly plan and implement events and programs that support Small & Medium Enterprises ("SMEs").

CreditBPO and DTI-NCRO intended to have the virtual signing to document their partnership. Here, Ms. Francisco and Ms. Alcantara showed the first page of the signed MOA.

According to Ms. Alcantara, as far as the project is concerned, every detail, including the responsibilities, priorities, and projects planned by DTI-NCRO and CreditBPO for the next year, is precise. For this, CreditBPO will be conducting orientations starting December 15 with the Negosyo Center Business Counselors (NCBCs) as they are on the frontlines in NCR's 17 cities. The NCBCs need to become aware of any upcoming plan, program, or training that DTI will be doing. They are the ones to invite the SME participants who will attend based on the set criteria and eventually collaborate with them. It can be possible to have this in every region where DTI has an office. However, it may require continuous follow-ups, especially in the NCR. The NCBCs would have to personally contact the participants for reminders about CreditBPO and how it can help their business. Having this can exceptionally be beneficial for assisted SMEs. DTI welcomes CreditBPO on this project as SMEs have different needs.

We can target small, medium, and large enterprises right now. Also included are large enterprises as they are asking for assistance because of the pandemic. Large enterprises now need help in financing. If they don't get this, they may eventually scale down to become medium enterprises. The ones that need assistance are businesses in the construction and footwear industries. DTI will review its timetable as there may be activities that are not allowed during the election ban.

This partnership recognizes the role of DTI-NCRO to serve as the primary economic catalyst of the government that enables innovative, competitive, job-generating, inclusive businesses and consumer empowerment. To support this role, CreditBPO aims to be an essential partner to Philippine SMEs in their pursuit of business growth by leveraging information technology to improve their visibility, operational efficiency, and creditworthiness.

CreditBPO appreciates this partnership as this can be a chance for SMEs to have a great tool that can help improve their businesses, assets, finance, and access to business opportunities. CreditBPO is looking forward to having tight coordination with DTI-NCRO to achieve the goals for this pilot project.
