Mumbai, Maharashtra Feb 4, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Trishnaa Singh has joined the star cast of the Akshay Kumar-starrer Bachchan Pandey. She will be making her Bollywood debut in the Farhad Samji directorial venture.

The film will reportedly see Akshay Kumar play the role of a gangster who wants to become an actor. Kriti Sanon, who has been cast opposite Kumar in the lead, will essay the role of a journalist who wishes to sit on the director's chair, while Trishnaa Singh will be sharing the screen with Prateik Babbar in the action entertainer.
Earlier, it was reported that Bachchan Pandey is going to be an unofficial remake of Veeram. However, it is now being said that the action drama is set to follow a fresh screenplay.
Akshay Kumar had also taken to his social media account to share his look as the dreaded gangster from the motion picture.
CAST OF BACHCHAN PANDEY
Before Trishnaa Singh joined the star-studded star cast of the actioner, Arshad Warsi was roped in to play the role of a struggling actor. His character is said to have shades of comedy, which is reported to be integral to the film's narrative.
Besides, Akshay, Kriti, Abhimanyu and Arshad, the feature film will also star Jacqueline Fernandez and Saharsh Kumar Shukla.
The principal photography of Bachchan Pandey commenced in Jaisalmer on January 6, 2021, and the film will also be shot in places like Jaisalkot and Gadisar Lake.
The Farhad Samji directorial venture is gearing up for its festive release on the Republic Day weekend of 2022.
During an Instagram session Trishnaa Singh quoted, “Making a debut with such a great star cast is an awesome feeling. Working with Akshay Kumar, Prateik Babbar and Farhad Samji was a great fun. I am really excited to see myself sharing screen with such talented actors.”
Trishnaa Singh has worked in Jackie Chan’s Vanguard (2020) and Netflix Original series Mismatched (2020) earlier. This is the first time she is working in a Bollywood film.
