Vancouver, British Columbia Aug 15, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Together We Can in partnership with Teamsters Local 155 presents our "Unmask Stigma Gala" on October 22nd. A spectacular masquerade Gala, celebrating talent, success, and creativity in the recovery community.
Join us as we help break down the stigma of addiction and support a new recovery life for those still struggling. This masquerade Gala will be held in the auditorium at the Croatian Cultural Centre on Commercial Drive.
Our goal for this event is to raise $200,000 to support addiction treatment opportunities and continued services at Together We Can, and all funds from the event will go towards our All Together Fund. The All Together Fund supports our mission of rebuilding lives by subsidizing treatment fees to make recovery more accessible for those who are facing financial hardships.
Together We Can Addiction Recovery & Education Society was founded in 1993 and since then has become one of Canada’s leading treatment centres for individuals and their families seeking a life in recovery. Located in Metro Vancouver, TWC’s mission is to educate and support men and families who struggle with the challenges of substance misuse and desire a new life in recovery. TWC provides over 300 individuals with abstinence-based recovery programs and supportive housing opportunities in a therapeutic residential setting. Our addiction recovery programs, transitional housing, and aftercare initiatives provide residents with an integrated approach to rehabilitation.
Together We Can understand that long-term recovery is most successful when people are provided health and wellness supports for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing. TWC is a licensed healthcare service provider through Vancouver Coastal Health and is well established as a reputable destination where people can truly begin to create change in their lives and rebuild their family relationships.
