Tehran, Iran Jan 8, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Iranian electronic artist, Vispa whose retro-synth sounds are making waves in the new decade of modern electronic music, gives us a throwback in time with his latest synth work.
Having got positive reviews for his 2017’s debut single, ‘Cosmic Force’ in blogs like ColorMeStunned, SonicNews, and Top40Charts and got interviewed by Know Me Better online magazine, Vispa managed to get signed with Bentley Records in the US. He then released some other singles and finally decided to release his debut professional E.P. with the label including edits of all his compositions to date.
Inspired by the likes of Jean-Michael Jarre, Kitaro, and Vangelis among other bands like Cusco and Tangerine Dream as well as film music icon, Hans Zimmer, Vispa presents a unique yet modern sound in today’s market through merging different electronic music genres.
Anyway, for his debut EP ‘Mentality’, Vispa has included a wide range of electronica, from Dance and Disco to Trance and Techno, with completely different arrangements and mixing approaches that display his compositional talent as well as his ability in creating memorable beats.
“I’m an electronic music composer with a different look towards the genre and a lot of influences; so, I’d like to compose in different, even contradictory atmospheres.” VISPA
The EP breaks into five sections with a vision of space and abstract worlds. This then led the talented musician to decide that some tracks like ‘Space Odyssey’ should take on a more progressive nature and some like ‘En-Tranced’ should take on a minimalistic approach, as can be seen when listening to ‘Mentality’.
