Jimmie Jackson has announced his candidacy for the Murrieta City Council, District 5. He has resided in the city for over eighteen years and has a thorough knowledge of the city's growth. As a resident, he knows what issues/concerns need addressing, and electing him will help in providing problem resolutions. He has served our country in the U.S. Navy for six years. This period has given him experience and knowledge of how to maintain his professional demeanor in tough situations requiring leadership with integrity. He is also a decorated Vietnam Era veteran which has given him first-hand understanding of being held accountable for one's actions and the decision making process. Voting for and electing him as a Councilmember will ensure the goals of Murrieta citizens will be addressed. Currently, the city's issues relating to traffic congestion, infrastructure maintainability, businesses developement/growth, affordable housing, and healthcare are all matters of note. Acknowledging the concerns, Jimmie Jackson is diligently researching plans for improving/minimizing the issues that the city's residents have along with ways to facilitate improvements for an overall better operating city.
