S.2716, The American Beef Labeling Act of 2021, sponsored by Senator John Thune, South Dekota (R). The bipartisan legislation was introduced on 09/13/2021 and read twice. Following the second reading, the legislation was referred to the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry.
Click is expected to turn up the volume on this issue, lobbying on a federal level on behalf of two non-disclosed national organizations in behalf of the legislation.
