What Started as a Bedtime Story Became an Entire World

Delhi mother and her 10-year-old son launch Godland Adventures, an original fantasy universe now reaching readers around the world.

New Delhi, Delhi Jun 29, 2026 (Issuewire.com)  - When most children are imagining magical worlds, 10-year-old Swaraag Mittal was helping create one.

Together with his mother, Swati Sanghi Mittal, a former television journalist and marketing professional, Swaraag has co-created Godland Adventures: Sparkles and the Magic Mistake, the first book in an original fantasy universe called Godland. Available worldwide on Amazon Kindle, the book marks an impressive milestone for one of India's youngest published fantasy co-authors.

But Godland Adventures is more than a single story.

Set in a magical realm hidden beyond the clouds, Godland is an expansive fantasy universe filled with fairies, pixies, angels, magical districts and unforgettable adventures. From Heartforge Valley and the Wonder Workshop to the Hall of Mending and Skyreach District, the world has been designed with its own geography, characters, lore and magical systems.

At its heart are four guiding elements - Kindness, Courage, Hope and Choice - values woven into every adventure and every character's journey.

The first book introduces readers to Sparkles, an enthusiastic fairy whose innocent mistake awakens a long-forgotten threat, setting off an adventure that explores friendship, responsibility, resilience and the courage to make things right.

What makes the project particularly remarkable is its scale. While many young writers dream up stories, Swaraag and his mother have envisioned Godland as a growing universe with multiple books, characters, locations, and storylines already planned for the future.

"We wanted to create a world that children could return to again and again," says Swati. "A place filled with wonder, imagination, adventure and meaningful life lessons."

By making the book available across Amazon Kindle platforms worldwide, the creators hope to introduce Godland to young readers across countries and cultures, proving that imagination knows no boundaries.

For Swati and Swaraag, Godland Adventures is more than a book series. It is an invitation into a world of wonder, friendship, courage and possibility - a place where children are encouraged to imagine freely and discover the magic hidden within their own ideas.

As young creators like Swaraag continue to break barriers, they are redefining what is possible for the next generation of storytellers, proving that great ideas, ambitious world-building, and global reach are not limited by age.
