Mercy Nwangwu Ebere popularly knows as Mercy Ben is a Nigerian Gospel Minister, performing artist, composer, and songwriter.
Her passion for music got her involved in the church young choir at an early age of which she later transitioned into an adult choir and she was the only teen to earn that honor to the Adult main Choir, at Bethel Baptist Church located at Obiaruku Delta State.
She grew up being raised by a Godly believing Family, and her father is a pastor at the Church of God Mission.
Mercy Ben relocated to Lagos due to some personal reasons which could make her a better life ahead of her journey in the Gospel music industry. Living in Lagos made her joined the Christ Embassy church and later joined the Choir, just to keep her personal relationship with God through music ministration to win souls to the body of Christ.
Mercy Ben is actively a music minister and leader in the choir, ever since then, she's been lead by God to write songs, being a composer she is able to write out song melodies and parts in any situation.
Her passion made her developed a habit of composing several songs. She was divinely inspired by God to write her Debut song " I Believe " also others.
Mercy Ben Debut's song "I Believe " is currently one of the best ministerial worship songs released in 2021, and earn alot of credits on Metro Fm 97.9 fm and still getting more Recognition on Social media from the Popular industry musicians like Stevosky music.
She's stated to have " Stevosky music " influenced her music to be more Professional and Uniquely recognized. As they both share several photos and videos clips singing and arranging music via Instagram.
Being an Independent Gospel musician her aim is touching lives through her voice proclaiming God's amazing Grace for man. Inspiring and bringing people closer to God.
