New South Wales, Australia Aug 22, 2018 (Issuewire.com) - On August 16th, the launch ceremony of Winbright Aviation and Hainan Airlines Joint Pilot Training Project——“The Dream Begins Here” was successfully held in Sydney.
The launch was jointly sponsored by Winbright Aviation, Hainan Airlines, Southern Cross University and the Australian International Aviation College. Partners included Virgin Australia and the University of New South Wales China Association, local medias and agencies. Such a strong coalition will provide fertile ground for those who aspire to be pilots.
Leaders and delegates from Winbright Aviation and Hainan Airlines, SCU, AIAC and Virgin Airlines attended the launch ceremony and took photos in front of the signature wall.
Since its establishment in 2013, Winbright Aviation has been committed to build a bridge for the aviation industry between Australia and China as well as other countries in the Asia-Pacific region to realize resource sharing. So far, through this bridge, over 100 students without flight experiences have become pilots of civil aviation routes in China, active in the civil aviation forefront.
This project is the only CAAC-certified airline pilot training program in Australia. It is aimed at Chinese high school graduates and undergraduate students under 26 years of age from overseas Chinese university students. After attaining the academic qualifications, and pass the civil aviation physical examination, psychological test, interview and theoretical examination,a training agreement can be signed with the shipping department and a full flight training at the aviation school. After that, they will be able to sign a labor contract with the shipping division and become an airline pilot.
As the only SKYTRAX five-star airline in mainland China, Hainan Airlines has been operating safely for 25 years since its establishment in 1993 and has won the title of SKYTRAX "World Five-star Airlines" for eight consecutive years. Hainan Airlines has a fleet of 737, 787 and Airbus 330 young luxury aircraft, route network throughout China, covering Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania, opened nearly 1800 routes at China and abroad, more than 220 shipping cities. As the earliest airline with independent pilot training capability, Hainan Airlines has established a complete flight training system, but also with major well-known institutions at China and abroad to establish a deep cooperative relationship and work together to continuously train new forces for the Chinese aviation industry.
Hainan Airlines, as one of the four major airlines in China, adhering to the principle of "harmony is the reason for groups to flourish", will provide pilots with a very strong employment platform and a good employment environment.

Kevin introduced that AIAC not only trains pilots, but also future flight captains. They put forward the "ASK" flight training concept: A is Attitude, treat flight with a professional attitude to ensure flight safety; S is Skill, excellent flight technology will be the guarantee for safety; K is knowledge, a comprehensive knowledge reserve is a necessary standard for future captains.
Therefore, AIAC's goal is not only to train the students’ flight skills, but also to cultivate the students' sense of responsibility and attitude, so as to lay a solid foundation for the future students to grow into excellent pilot.
Ms. Erica Wilson, Vice Chancellor of Southern Cross University, Australia, and Professor Michael Charles introduced the faculty and environment of Southern Cross University. As a public university accredited by the China Education Ministry's Overseas Student Service Center, Southern Cross provides the most solid foundation for Winbright Aviation Pilot Development Program: Bachelor of business - Aviation Management.
Peter Cai, Chief Group Advisor of Virgin Australian Airlines Group, introduced Virgin Australian and the employment states of Virgin Australian. Winbright Aviation will also deepen its partnership with Virgin Australia in the future, thus creating more job opportunities for outstanding young people.

On behalf of the presenters, the host asked a series of questions which were raised on the employment prospects of the aviation industry at China and abroad, and the leaders at the meeting gave corresponding answers respectively. Du Shuo of Hainan Airlines believes that Chinese aviation industry is flourishing, and the fleet construction of Hainan Airlines is also taking advantage of the rapid development of the environment. It is known that Hainan Airlines will introduce nearly 100 new aircraft this year, so the demand for pilots will increase with each passing day.
Virgin Australia's Mr. Cai believes that since the tourism industry has been growing in various countries, aircraft has become an important role of transportation, so the demand for pilots will be growing, and the shortage of pilots will become increasingly apparent global problems.
