CHARLOTTE, NC – June 23, 2023 - The Wine, Women & Film Festival, a live event with a focus on supporting women in the arts, wine and film industries, is thrilled to announce the official venue selection of Childress Vineyards for its 2nd annual event, and has confirmed the event debut date will be Saturday, September 23, 2023.

The 7 hour ticket required, private event program spans from 3PM - 10PM and will feature a Red Carpet Photo Opportunity. Attendees will enjoy a Wine Tasting Flight of 4 wines and Social/Networking Mixer (3PM - 4:30PM) in the vineyard setting to start, then the celebration continues as they transition to the Awards Dinner & Presentation from 5PM-6PM followed by a live screening of short-listed indie films from 6PM-10PM in the Victory Lounge event space.

Just an hour drive north from the Charlotte airport, Childress Vineyards has been dubbed the “Gateway to the Yadkin Valley'' wine region. The Jewel line includes 3 wine varietals and the label is cut in the shape of a Jewel, while the Childress logo encircles daughter Tina Dillon’s monogram initials.

Childress Vineyards features over 70 acres of vineyards and 15 varieties of European Vitis vinifera cultivars at two vineyards sites: Richard’s Hampton Road Estate in Davidson County and Vineyard Crossing at the winery site.
