Los Angeles, California Feb 4, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Miranda Spigener-Sapon’s first prequel of the Winterwolf Press series of prequels, Charles: A Marisa Romanov Story is set to release in November 2019. The book explores the vast universe that holds mysterious and dangerous secrets about a multi-verse and parallel world. This forbidden knowledge is guarded by a team of entities that walk among us. One of these beings is known as…Charles. The feature film rights for the book have been optioned by a studio and is currently in development.
Miranda Spigener-Sapon is an award-winning writer who recently directed the 20th Anniversary return to the stage of her play The Flame at Metropolis in Santa Monica. In the past, the play received praise by Houston Press and The Village Voice in 1997 during its original run. The special anniversary run in Santa Monica received praise by Broadway World and The Los Angeles Times.
Most recently, Miranda directed the documentary feature Masculinity That Inspires Change, written by Gunter Swoboda, available on Amazon Prime. Miranda’s first scripted series for television, Marisa Romanov to appear on Amazon Prime, inspired from the 2001 International Venice Film Festival and Berlin Film Festival award-winning short, will debut in 2019.
Winterwolf Press aims to promote peace, joy, magic, and positivity in society’s creative consciousness and to be a counter voice against the all-too-common dystopian themes that run rampant in today’s entertainment.
