Saint Louis, Missouri Mar 8, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Wrestling With Ghosts is an American television show about the paranormal that premiered as a web-series on June 30, 2017. Since then, the show's concept won the Destination America nationwide search for new creative paranormal team. The show has since been picked up and is now being aired on the ASY TV network. According to the original introduction, season one follows a paranormal investigator, directly after he loses his original paranormal team to what he calls "a demonic attack" and subsequent fist-fight with his friends. He then hires three smart-aleck professional wrestlers (Big Luke Walker, Funkmaster V (aka Vinnie Vineyard), Travis Graves) as protection on future investigations. Hilarity ensues.
Over the course of time, Big Luke comes up with a philosophy called "The Charge", which he believes helps the team capture more paranormal evidence than other teams. "The Charge" is basically filling (or charging) the room with jocularity, positive vibes, and/or avant garde human energy and inviting the spirits to "come play" with them. They do this by performing skits, asking off the wall questions, putting on humorous wrestling matches for the ghosts... and the like.
The show is now filming its third season, adding to the mix a part Native female and rock vocalist, Kandi Thompson. So far in season 3, the team has investigated several Native American legends... including Indian Cave in Tennessee, searching for Cherokee legend Spearfinger in North Carolina, and checking out the portal to Hell at the Horsefly Chronicles house in Easton, PA. "Wrestling With Ghosts" is produced by Big N Funky Productions and airs on www.ASYTV.com
